  We flew Skydio to perform a 3D scan of a tree & light pole and a 2D scan of the basketball court. We’ve never done 3D or 2D scans with Mavic 2 pro, and it was such a great experience to perform 2D and 3D scans. We planned 2D and 3D scans in Happy Hollow Park because we thought there was a wide-open area and there was a lot of stuff to scan such as a tall tree and the sign of Happy Hollow Park. We chose a tree to do 3 scans but that tree was so tall and it took longer time than we thought due to a lot of branches. So, we ran out of batteries for controllers as well as 4 batteries. After that, we found another place that is called West Lafayette athletic complex. the reason why we chose here is it is also a wide-open area and people don’t usually show up on weekdays. Plus, we found some interesting stuff such as trees, a basketball stand, light pole on google Maps before going to fly.   Location : Connection Point Church 2541 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906   The main reason why we chose connection church is we wanted to take some nice pictures. We are just used to Turf Farm because we usually flew there. We wanted to experience a whole new area that has a wide area and cool stuff that we can take a picture of and I found out connection point church. The pastor in connection church also needed the picture because they didn’t have enough pictures. It is hard for them to get church pictures in the air. So, it was a win-win situation all around.
