Performing Viewshed Analysis in ArcGIS Pro  A dd the project data to a new map document. In the Catalog pane, browse to Databases, and then expand the VSPro geodatabase. On the Map tab,  chose Streets to change the basemap.  In the Format Polygon Symbol pane, click Properties, and then specify the following parameters: Color: No Color Outline Color: Mars Red (row 3, column 2) Outline Width: 2 pt The fields view opens, and the Fields tab opens on the ribbon. The fields view shows the content and format for each field in the LightLocations attribute table. For Field Name, type   OFFSETA . The OFFSETA field will affect the height from which the viewshed will be created. It is a vertical distance in surface units to be added to the elevation of the observation point. Building map with UAS data

Orthomosaic, DSM, DEM DSM stands for digital surface model and DEM stands for digital elevation model.  The main difference lies in the content I captured. DSMs include all surface features (both natural and artificial), while DEMs specifically focus on representing the elevation of the bare Earth's surface, When using the swipe tool to compare orthomosaic and DSM, I could notice how the orthomosaic aligns with the underlying terrain features depicted in the shaded relief of the DSM.  The orthomosaic and the shaded relief of the DSM provide different perspectives of the same area. The orthomosaic will show the actual visual appearance of the landscape, including objects, buildings, roads, etc., while the DSM shaded relief will reveal the underlying elevation variations that influence the terrain's appearance in the orthomosaic. 3D scan

  We flew Skydio to perform a 3D scan of a tree & light pole and a 2D scan of the basketball court. We’ve never done 3D or 2D scans with Mavic 2 pro, and it was such a great experience to perform 2D and 3D scans. We planned 2D and 3D scans in Happy Hollow Park because we thought there was a wide-open area and there was a lot of stuff to scan such as a tall tree and the sign of Happy Hollow Park. We chose a tree to do 3 scans but that tree was so tall and it took longer time than we thought due to a lot of branches. So, we ran out of batteries for controllers as well as 4 batteries. After that, we found another place that is called West Lafayette athletic complex. the reason why we chose here is it is also a wide-open area and people don’t usually show up on weekdays. Plus, we found some interesting stuff such as trees, a basketball stand, light pole on google Maps before going to fly.
