Raster Analyses

From raster analyses, I learned spatial analysis and modeling with raster data. I estimated the access costs for all points on a landscape, based on slope and distance to roads. You’ll then apply a threshold to this access cost.

I created a mosaic of the valley DEMs. Then I fixed the Shasta DEM and produced a hillshades corrected elevation map. Then I created the second map, a cost surface with an applied threshold, and some of the intermediate data used for the cost surface.

 My team had a chance to teardown UAS for this two-week lab. It was a lot more complicated than I thought. And some parts of our drone were already missing from the get-go, we were confused at first but we ended up tearing down ours perfectly. This is the process for teardown. LAB 9 SKYDIO SKILLS FLIGHT

  It was my first time dealing with skydio drone. I was excited to fly this drone, but the weather was not good to fly this last week. Actually, we went to the turf farm three times to do this lab. when we checked out the weather, it was fine, so we decided to go out but when we started to fly, it started raining out of the blue so we had to pack up and reschedule our flight, unfortunately, It happened the other day. We were able to fly it finally yesterday. On the Map tab,  chose Streets to change the basemap.  In the Format Polygon Symbol pane, click Properties, and then specify the following parameters: Color: No Color Outline Color: Mars Red (row 3, column 2) Outline Width: 2 pt The fields view opens, and the Fields tab opens on the ribbon.
