Redesign with NX CAD(LAB11 #2)

 After tearing down UAS, we redesigned the motor mount on the drone arms

With these sketches, we sketched the top part and bottom parts in NX CAD. before doing this, I practiced NX CAD with some tutorials that dr. rose gave. I learned a lot by dealing with some hard tutorials. Designing these two parts is less complicated than the hard parts of tutorials. Even though these two parts were less complicated than that, some parts were still hard for us. So, we changed some parts when we designed it in NX CAD. But, we did add some support beams that make this arm stronger.

Everything was great, but after printing it out, we found out there was no one hole at the top part. We were trying to make a hole physically by pushing it with a needle. it didn't work and the main hole in the top part was small for the motor. It didn't fit the motor. we did measure the diameter of motor. but, we should've left some space for the motor because the whole part of the motor is spinning. So, we had to redesign the part, we changed the diameter from 25mm to 35mm and sent it to be printed again.

In a previous lab, I completed some ESRI tutorials regarding raster data analysis. This time, I engaged in raster data analysis using UAS data gathered over the course of a mine dredging operation. I needed to draw upon what I've learned in the ESRI tutorials so far. ·        Extract by mask This tool extracts the cells of a raster that correspond to the areas defined by a mask.
